This is a still life drawing. I learned that still life drawings are taking an object and drawing it on a table or not moving at all. Charcol works very well for this kind of drawing, highlights and shadows are more visible. In this piecs the shading was successful because you can tell where the light source is. If I draw still life pieces again, I would focus more on the shadow being projected onto the ground (in the photo).
In this scientific drawing, i have learned that detail is key. You must first focus on shapes and then get into detail within those shapes. My piece was successful because you can tell what kind od plant it is and where the light source is. If i do this in the future i would focus more on the shapes and details, not the shading. i believe that pencil works best for scientific drawings.
The next drawing is a perspective drawing. I learned that in one point perspective drawings there is one vanishing point (usually on the horizon line), with two point perspective, there are 2 vanishing points (usually on the end points of the horizon line), and with three point perspective there are 3 perspective points. All mediums work well for this type of drawing. When I do perspective in the future, I would like to try and get the value and the scale correct.
